Are you studying the Bible merely to gather information, or are you approaching the Word of God with a hunger for transformation? Because Scripture was never given just to fill the mind; it was given to renew the heart, reshape the life, and equip the believer to walk in the power and approval of God. Beloved, welcome to Ten Minutes of Supernatural Transformation from Transforming Christ International. I am Dr. Joshua Kolawole, and today, we will discover how the Word of God moves us from casual reading into life-changing transformation. Today, Title of my Message: Studying Right - From Casual Reading to Transformational Living And our anchor Scripture is 2 Timothy 2:15 AMP. "Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved [a workman tested by trial], who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth." INTRODUCTION This verse is one of the most significant New Testament texts on biblical scholarship, spiritual formation, ministerial integrity, and the stewardship of divine revelation. It is not merely a command to read the Bible more often; it is a call to cultivate a life that is approved by God through diligent study, continuous Meditation, faithful interpretation, and obedient application of His Word. The burden is simple but powerful: God is not only looking for people who hear the Word; “James 1 vs 22 – But be Doers of the Word, and Not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” He is forming workers who can rightly handle the Word and live transformed by the Word. Paul is writing from prison to Timothy, his spiritual son, knowing that false teachers are multiplying and that Timothy must preserve the purity of the Gospel. Thus, this verse is not simply an academic instruction—it is a pastoral and theological mandate. What Does God Really See When He Looks at Me? EPHESIANS 1:3-6. • Have you ever paused to ask yourself, “What does God really see when He looks at my Life?” • Does He primarily see my weaknesses, my failures, my mistakes, and the areas where I am still struggling? Or does He see me through the finished work of Jesus Christ? • Beloved, this question matters because the way you believe God sees you will shape the way you approach Him, the way you see yourself, and the way you live your Christian life. • The central truth of our conversation today is this: • The Christian life does not begin with striving to earn God’s acceptance; it begins with receiving, believing, positioning, and living from everything God has already given us in Christ Jesus. What Happens When God Opens Your Inner Eyes? (Eph 1: 17 – 20) What if your greatest limitation is not lack of blessing, but lack of spiritual sight or Insight to see them? What if your greatest challenge is not that God has not blessed you, but that your inner eyes have not yet been opened to see what He has already given you in Christ Jesus? What if the problem is not lack of power or even capacity, but lack of revelation? What if the issue is not that heaven is empty, but that the heart is not enlightened to see what you have access to? Many people live as spiritual beggars while sitting on divine inheritance. They pray from anxiety, fight from fear, and live below their calling because they have not yet seen the hope, inheritance, and power that are already theirs in Christ. Beloved, welcome to Ten Minutes of Supernatural Transformation from Transforming Christ International. I am Dr. Joshua Kolawole. At Transforming Christ - our mandate is: Raising Kingdom Disciples, Transforming Lives, And Advancing Christ's Mission. The Title of my Message today is : What Happens When God Opens Your Inner Eyes? Today, we are looking at Ephesians 1:17-20. This is one of the deepest prayers in the New Testament. Paul is praying that believers will not merely have salvation, but that We will understand the depth, glory, power, and purpose of the salvation we all have received. Core Text - Ephesians 1:17-20 - AMP “17 [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. 18 And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people), 19 and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength 20 which He produced in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,” Core Thought: The greatest tragedy is not that believers lack blessings in Christ; it is that many believers lack revelation of what they already possess in Him. Have you ever prayed, “Lord, remove this pain far away from me,” and it seemed as though heaven answered, “Let my patience finish its work”? As a genuine Christian, trials are not proof or sign that God has abandoned you as many people or the enemy will like you to think or believe. It may be the classroom in which the Holy Spirit is exposing what is currently unstable, or Foundational issues that needs rebuilding within you, or what is weak in your systems, and/or where the Holy Spirit is forming something eternal within you.
